what is hairdo?
Jessica Simpson and celebrity Hollywood stylist to the stars Ken Paves have joined forces to launch hairdo, a clip-in hair extensions system that is taking the world by storm.
These hair extensions are actually worn by Jessica
Simpson in her numerous red carpet appearances, magazine covers,
music videos and on the sets of movies such as the "Dukes of
Hazard" and the soon to be released "Blonde Ambition". Jessica
isn't the only one in Hollywood to wear hairdo; many of Ken's other
"A" list Hollywood celebrities also regularly wear hairdo clip-in
hair extensions.
Ken Paves also has a long list of Hollywood celebrity
clientele. Celebrities such as Ashlee Simpson, Carmen Electra,
Céline Dion, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Cattrall, Cameron Diaz, Christina
Applegate, Heather Locklear, Callista Flockhart, Alicia
Silverstone, Kirsten Dunst, Eva Longoria and many more.
hairdo is unique in terms of its design and fibre. hairdo uses the
patented Vibralite fibre, which it is the closest replication of
human hair available, and is only 1/3 the weight of human hair.
Hairdo is also available is 100% fine human hair.
The great thing about hairdo is that it is virtually undetectable.
If Jessica Simpson can get through the hoards of paparazzi and red
carpet events for over 6 months while "road testing" the pieces
without them being detected, chances are no one will ever
know.
hairdo is also unique due to its one piece, multi layered
construction. Many other clip-in hair extensions
systems consist of multiple wefts, being both complicated
and time consuming for consumers to use.
hairdo also overcomes the many challenges that come with permanent
hair extensions. The ironic part about the permanent systems is
that they are "not" actually permanent. They generally last
approximately 3 months, and then require removal or
re-adjusting.
Some of the major issues with permanent extensions are time, cost, commitment and maintenance. There is only a finite amount of consumers who would be prepared to pay $1,000+ and spend over 8 hours in a salon chair for a service that will require continual ongoing maintenance. Read our section on how to care for your hairdo hair extensions for more information.
hairdo pieces retail to the public exclusively via professional salons.
Vibralite requires virtually no maintenance; simply wash in cold water every 6-8 weeks and air dry. No need to style, as the style is pre-set into the fibre, either wavy or straight, and will return to the piece once it has dried.
hairdo is available in two varieties, Vibralite & 100% fine human hair. Only the highest quality human hair is utilised by hairdo & gives and you the ability to colour, curl & hot iron as desired.
Don't confuse Vibralite with the "Barbie Doll" plastic looking synthetic extensions that you may have seen in the past. The Vibralite man made fibre is unlike any other fibre on the market. It is virtually indistinguishable to human hair, and can also be cut, just like human hair.
The main advantage of Vibralite versus human hair, is that human hair "must" be styled... blow dried, flat ironed, curled, etc.... this is eliminated with Vibralite.
Beware of Inferior clip-in extension systems!
Since the launch of hairdo, and our revolutionary "one piece hair extension system" many inferior systems have also entered the market. As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for"
These "cheap and nasty" imports use the lowest quality fibre & human hair available. Although they look reasonable when initially purchased, they only have a very limited life span. Many of these inferior products suffer from severe breakage & shedding after being washed & styled only 2 or 3 times. These products also tend to turn to "jelly" if you attempt to colour the human hair.
