Since the launch of hairdo, and our revolutionary "one piece extension system" many inferior systems have also entered the market.

As the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for" these cheap and nasty imports use the lowest quality fibre & human hair available. Although they look reasonable when initially purchased, they only have a very limited life span.

Many of these inferior products suffer from severe breakage & shedding after being washed & styled only 2 or 3 times.These products also tend to turn to "jelly" if you attempt to colour the human hair.

Q. Will anyone know I am wearing hairdo extensions?
A. No! that's the great thing about hairdo, no one will ever know!

Q. What is a weft?
A. A weft is strands of hair which have been sewn along one edge to create a line of hair. Generally, many wefts of human or synthetic hair with pre-attached clips make up your extensions system. Each clip-in hair extension weft is sized for placement on a different part of your head. hairdo uses a one piece, multi weft/multi layer system for quick application. hairdo eliminates the hassle & difficulty of working with mutiple individual wefts

Q. Can I brush my hair while wearing hairdo?
A. You can brush your hair lightly with your hair extensions in. However, if you brush them too hard you may pull them out of place. We recommend gentle finger styling or brushing before applying your hairdo

Q. What kind of hair does hairdo use?
A. hairdo is available in two variations - 1. Vibralite- A patented man made fiber that replicates human hair with undetectable precision. Human hair products are made from 100% fine human hair of the highest quality.

Q. How long are hairdo extensions?
A. We carry extensions from 10" to 23". It's easy to add length and volume with the longer extensions systems. Hairdo's short extensions systems can instantly transform longer layered hair into a shorter bob without cutting any hair for exceptional versatility 

Q. How do I match my color?
hairdo Vibralite extensions & pre highlighted & multi tonal, therefore will blend effortlessly with your existing hair colour. Human hair pieces may also be colored to match your existing colour.

Q. Can hairdo extensions be cut?
A. Yes! All hairdo hair extensions, whether Vibralite or human hair, may be cut. However, we recommend that all extensions be customized by your salon professional

Q. Can I use a curling iron/flat iron on my hairdo extensions?
A. hairdo human hair extensions can be styled just like your own hair with heating tools. Heat must not be used with Vibralite  

Q. Can I sleep in clip-in hair extensions?
A. We do not recommend sleeping with your hairdo extensions in your hair. Careful treatment is essential to extending their wear life and beauty.

Q. Can I swim with hairdo hair extensions?
A. We do not recommend you swim in your hairdo extensions.

Q. How do I care for my hairdo clip-in extensions? Do I take them out when I shampoo my hair?
A. Yes! hairdo extensions should be washed with products specifically formulated for hair extensions (we recommend xtension^TM care products as they are specifically formulated for hairdo) Read our section on caring for your Jesicca Simpson hairdo hair extensions

Q. Can you create up-styles or pony tails with hairdo? Can you see the clips?
A. Yes, hairdo can easily be worn as an up style, whilst being totally undetectable!

Q. Will the extensions fall out?
A. No, they will not fall out of your hair. Hairdo utilizes designed with a rubber coating silicone lined, non-slip clips to secure them firmly to your hair. You may also tease the hair where you wish to apply the clip to create added security.

Q. Can you use clip-in hair extensions for every day life or just for parties?
A. Clip-in extensions systems are so user friendly you can wear them all the time. Why not be more beautiful everyday? With minimal practice, anyone can put in their own hairdo clip-in hair extensions in minutes. 

Q. How do I store my hairdo extensions?
A. Keep your extensions clean and dry when storing them. Storing the extensions in a plastic bag will help keep them fresh and ready to wear. With Human Hair extensions worn wavy, keep the desired curl pattern by setting the hair on rollers that conform to the curl size before storing. A good rule of thumb for washing your hair extensions would be to wash them when the fiber begins to look dull. Try to wash them as infrequently as possible. Synthetic products should be washed every 4-6 wears, and human hair should be washed every 3-4 wears. These figures apply to every day/all day wear of extensions and not to special occasion or infrequent use of extensions. 

Q. Is there any way to curl hairdo Vibralite extensions?
A. The monofilament fiber used to make synthetic extensions has a "memory" which means it maintains its wave or curl, texture and volume, requiring minimal upkeep. Since the synthetic hair in the Jessica Simpson Hair Extension range is not heat friendly, heated styling products should not be used. hairdo Vibralite is available in either straight or wavy, therefore grab a wavy hairdo, and you will never have to style your hair extensions!

Q. Will hairdo damage my natural hair? Does it hurt? Will it pull my hair out? Will my new hair feel heavy?
A. No. These extension systems are designed to be lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear. The clips are strong but gentle and will not damage your existing hair.

Q. Can I color my hairdo extensions?
A. You can color human hair extensions. However, human hair extensions have been previously treated and chemically processed. It is not recommended to lighten or lift color from this hair. If you must color the human hair extensions, we recommend purchasing the lightest color offered and using semi-permanent color to deposit only. Vibralite hair extensions cannot be colored.
